Computer literacy for the Mac videos summary

In the video "Laptop Vs. desktop computer" I learned that desktop computers are the ones that are meant to sit and they can't be carry around a lot, unlike laptops. Laptops are meant to be portable and are also known as "Notebook" or "MacBook"; they are no more than six to seven pounds. Desktop computers are more upgradable than laptops because you can add and additional memory or hard rive to store more information. The smallest type of computer Apple has is the Ipad, but for professional works it is more recommended to purchase a desktop computer or laptop.
The second video "Five things that work in all applications" explained that all apps have similar basic comands that you can recognize in any app. The five things we are able to recognize in any app after knowing what they are are the file menu; which just about every application has, cut copy and paste, the help menu, preference settings and undo & redo. Mac and windows have differences but because of the similar features someone that uses just one of them wont be completely lost.
